Kathy has worked in the public relations industry for more than 20 years. As co-founder, and TAG president, she has built a business that has encompassed a diverse regional, national and international clientele.

Kathy formerly served as vice president of communications for Excellus BlueCross BlueShield - CNY region, overseeing a variety of public relations/advertising activities directed to the community, legislators, health care providers, media and the insurer's more than 700,000 customers. Previously, she worked for the New York State Senate as a director of communications and as a communications specialist; and as a reporter and editor for several area weekly and daily newspapers.

Kathy has received various accolades throughout her career. In 2001, she was selected as one of the top 40 Syracuse business leaders under 40. Two years later, she received the CNY Women in Business Award and in 2006 received the Community Entrepreneurial Leadership Award from Syracuse University. In 2007, she was chosen as a recipient of the CBS-TV5 Women In Leadership Award. As an involved member of her community, she was a founding member and past chair of the Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (WISE) advisory board, a program of Syracuse University's Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship; and past chair of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of CNY advisory board. She is a member of the Onondaga Community College Foundation board of directors and the Onondaga Case Management board of directors.

Kathy holds a bachelor's degree in journalism/English from Buffalo State College and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse.

She resides in Onondaga Hill with her husband, Marty, and children, Meg and Jack.
