KATHY DWYER

As co-founder/president, Kathy has built a business that represents a diverse clientele. She is active in all aspects of the business from strategy to day-to-day account service. Kathy has worked in the public relations industry for 25 years. She formerly served as vice president of communications for a major health insurer. Prior to that she worked as a communications director in the New York State Senate; and as a newspaper reporter and editor.

Kathy's honors include the American Red Cross Women Who Mean Business Award; CBS-TV5 Women In Leadership Award; Syracuse University's Community Entrepreneurial Leadership Award; CNY Women in Business Award; and the 40 Under 40 Award.

Kathy is a member of the boards of directors of the American Red Cross of CNY; ElderCare Foundation of CNY; and Bellevue Heights Nursery School and is secretary of the Parent Council at Onondaga Hill Middle School. She was a founding member and past chair of Syracuse University's Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (WISE) advisory board; and past chair of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of CNY advisory board.

Kathy holds a bachelor's degree in journalism/English from Buffalo State College and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse. She lives in Syracuse, NY with her husband and children.
